CATAIR (Ontario Region) announces the Crash Data Retrieval Operators, Applications and Analysis Course.   This course will be presented at the York Regional Police Training Facility - 70 Bales Drive East, East Gwillimbury, Ontario - and will be presented by experienced instructors Brad Muir and associates of Crash Data Specialists LLC. 

This course introduces the Bosch Crash Data Retrieval System and will cover techniques for imaging  Event  Data  Recorder  information from various vehicle manufacturers. The airbag system deployment decision-making algorithm will be discussed.  Data availability,  interpretation and limitations for the various automotive manufacturers will also be explained. Actual crashes and staged crash testing data will supplement the course material.  The participant will be able to provide a situationally appropriate data analysis at the conclusion of this course.
